I ordered a dishwasher, which was delivered yesterday. I decided to save $80 by installing it myself.
The old dishwasher came out easy, and hooking up the new one was easy enough -- just use some wing nuts for power, and use new or existing lines for water and drain.
But getting it level and positioned in the slot was a huge pain, my hands are pretty beat up from that.
Also, mounting the dishwasher was easily the most difficult part. The brackets that come with GE dishwashers are terrible, and it doesn't come with enough screws for it. I ended up using the screws from the old dishwasher to mount it under the counter, and it's all installed/mounted and working now!
